Privacy Policy

How MyReportStudio handles your data. Last updated July 7, 2026.

Overview

MyReportStudio(“we”, “us”) helps you turn spreadsheets into professional reports. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you create an account we store your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile photo as provided by Google.
  • Spreadsheet data. When you upload a file (.xlsx or .csv), we parse it into structured data used to build your reports. This data is stored in your account so your reports work across devices.
  • Reports and templates. The report designs you create, including their layout, styling, and data bindings.
  • Usage information. Basic technical data (such as browser type and general activity) needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

  • To provide the core product: building, saving, and exporting your reports.
  • To sync your reports and data securely across your devices.
  • To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • To improve reliability, performance, and features.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the contents of your uploaded spreadsheets for advertising.

Google sign-in

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) to create and manage your account. We request only the minimum scopes required to authenticate you. Your use of Google sign-in is also subject to Google’s own privacy policy.

Data storage and security

Data is stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure (including Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage, and Vercel for hosting). Access to your reports and uploaded data is protected by row-level security so that only you can access your own content. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) throughout the service.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual reports at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the service, including Supabase (authentication, database, storage), Vercel (hosting), and Google (optional sign-in). These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own security and privacy commitments.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
